Nichole Matthews

Nichole Matthews is a comic-art illustrator and one half of the twin sister team Kelly and Nichole Matthews. According to publisher and retailer listings for Afternoon on the Amazon Graphic Novel (Magic Tree House), the sisters are credited as the book’s illustrators and are described as living just north of Seattle, working together as a comic-art team, and having previously worked with Boom Studios!, Archaia, the Jim Henson Company, Hiveworks, and Random House.

They are also identified in coverage about their comics work as twin sisters who broke into the comic-book industry in 2014 and have drawn multiple graphic novels, including adaptations connected to R.L. Stine, Jim Henson properties, and Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
