Nicky Mohan

Dr. Nicky Mohan is an educational consultant, instructional design expert, and co-author of Literacy Is Still Not Enough: Modern Fluencies for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (Corwin, 2021), written with Ian Jukes and Ryan L. Schaaf. She is a managing partner at InfoSavvy Group in Canada and director and co‑founder of SpringBoard21 in the United States, international consulting firms focused on future‑ready learning and modern fluencies in education.

Born and raised in South Africa, Mohan has worked as a classroom teacher, school administrator, university leader, business sector manager, corporate trainer, international speaker, and global consultant specializing in instructional design. She previously served as Director of Curriculum for the 21st Century Fluency Group in Canada and has co‑written several books on future‑focused education, including the award‑winning Reinventing Learning for the Always‑On Generation and the bestselling LeaderShift 2020: Renewing Our Schools for Modern Times. She has also been selected as a member of the UNESCO Teacher Task Force core working group on The Role of AI in Education.
