Pamela A. Koutrakos

Pamela A. Koutrakos is a literacy educator, instructional coach, consultant, and author whose work focuses on practical, inquiry-based word study and integrated literacy instruction for K–8 classrooms. A former classroom teacher, she now provides professional learning in literacy and regularly presents at conferences and events across the United States.

She is the author of Word Study That Sticks: Best Practices, K–6, The Word Study That Sticks Companion: Classroom-Ready Tools for Teachers and Students, Grades K–6, and Mentor Texts That Multitask [Grades K–8]: A Less-Is-More Approach to Integrated Literacy Instruction, all published in the Corwin Literacy series.
