Patricia Grawehr McGee
Patty McGee is a literacy consultant, speaker, and educator who has worked in schools across the United States. She is the author of Feedback That Moves Writers Forward: How to Escape Correcting Mode to Transform Student Writing and has also been identified as a lead author of Benchmark Writer’s Workshop and Grammar Study, The 7 Essentials of Writer’s Workshop, and Feedback for Primary Writers.
According to published author bios, McGee previously served as Coordinator of Professional Learning in Literacy for the Northern Valley Curriculum Center and earlier worked as a fourth-grade teacher, library media specialist, and literacy coach. She earned a B.A. in Elementary Education from Loyola University Maryland, an associate school library media specialist certification from Rutgers University, and an M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership from Montclair State University; she has also been recognized with the Milken Educator Award.
