Patrick J. Rydell, Ed.D., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist and autism specialist, and a coauthor of The SCERTS Model: A Comprehensive Educational Approach for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (Prizant, Wetherby, Rubin, Laurent, & Rydell, 2006). He is the founder and director of the Rocky Mountain Autism Center, Inc., and Autism On Call, LLC, where he has provided national and international training, consultation, and program development in autism spectrum disorder for government agencies, medical facilities, universities, school districts, professionals, and families.
Rydell’s work focuses on social communication and learning profiles in children with autism spectrum disorder. He is the author of the Learning Style Profile for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (2012) and the Autism On Call Educational Series (2017), and his clinical career spans several decades of direct practice with autistic children and their families.
