Patrick M. Lencioni is an American author, speaker, and consultant known for his work on leadership, teamwork, and organizational health. He is the founder and president of The Table Group, a management consulting firm specializing in executive team development and organizational health, which he established in 1997. Before founding The Table Group, Lencioni worked at Bain & Company, Oracle Corporation, and Sybase, where he served on the executive team and held a role in organization development.
Lencioni is the author of more than a dozen best‑selling business books, including Overcoming the Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Field Guide for Leaders, Managers, and Facilitators and The Ideal Team Player: How to Recognize and Cultivate The Three Essential Virtues, as well as The Five Dysfunctions of a Team and The Advantage. His books have sold millions of copies worldwide and have been translated into numerous languages, and his ideas on organizational health and team performance have influenced leaders across corporate, nonprofit, and faith-based sectors. He lives with his wife and four sons, most recently reported in Tennessee or the San Francisco Bay Area.
