Patrick W. Flynn

Patrick W. Flynn is an educational leader and consultant who has served as a teacher, teacher leader, curriculum director, and executive program director in K–12 settings across more than eleven U.S. states. He has held roles including Executive Director of High Schools for Edison Schools and Chief Academic Officer for Great Schools Workshop in Sacramento, working with building- and district-level administrators in nine states on systemic high school reform. Flynn is the founder and Executive Director of ReVISION Learning Partnership, through which he has provided professional development and school improvement support to districts and educational organizations in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Louisiana, as well as leading initiatives internationally with the Abu Dhabi Education Council in the United Arab Emirates.

Flynn is the co-author of Feedback to Feed Forward: 31 Strategies to Lead Learning, published by Corwin, and co-authored with Amy Tepper. He also co-authored Learner-Focused Feedback: 19 Strategies to Observe for Impact, further developing practical frameworks for instructional leadership and effective feedback in schools. Across his consulting and writing, Flynn has focused on transformational leadership, performance management systems, standards-driven instruction, data-driven decision-making, and building cultures of learning through high-quality feedback.
