Dr. Paul Gordon is an educator who has dedicated his career to public education and inclusive schooling. According to the publisher’s book page for The Way to Inclusion: How Leaders Create Schools Where Every Student Belongs, he spent much of his career in Colorado’s Adams 12 Five Star School District, where he served as a classroom teacher, middle school principal, director of professional development, and chief academic officer.
The same source states that during the last 10 years of his career, Gordon served as superintendent of three school districts. It also notes that early in his career he worked with students with significant reading challenges, which influenced his focus on creating inclusive environments for every student.
