Perri Rosen
Dr. Perri Rosen is a nationally certified school psychologist, licensed psychologist, and certified special educator whose work focuses on youth mental health and school-based suicide prevention. She earned an M.S.Ed. in Human Development from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in School Psychology from Temple University. Based in Pennsylvania, she serves as a consulting psychologist for the state’s Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services within the Department of Human Services, where she has helped lead initiatives such as the Garrett Lee Smith Youth Suicide Prevention grant and the Pennsylvania Network of Student Assistance Services, and has co-chaired the Governor’s Suicide Prevention Task Force.
Rosen is the co-author of Lives Worth Living: Applying Zero Suicide as a Prevention Approach for Schools, which adapts the Zero Suicide framework to PreK–12 educational settings. She has co-authored peer‑reviewed articles on topics including school-based suicide prevention, universal mental health screening, and educator training, such as the framework piece School-Based Suicide Prevention: A Framework for Evidence-Based Practice and research on the More Than Sad school-based gatekeeper training program. Across her work, she emphasizes comprehensive, multi-tiered school mental health systems, crisis response and postvention, and cross-systems collaboration to support students’ wellbeing.[
