Peter H. Reynolds is a Canadian-born author, illustrator, and educator best known for children’s books that celebrate creativity, authentic learning, and self-expression, including The Dot, Ish, Sky Color, The North Star, and So Few of Me. Born in Toronto in 1961 alongside his identical twin brother Paul, he later moved to Massachusetts, attended Fitchburg State College and the Massachusetts College of Art, and has since become a New York Times bestselling creator whose work has been translated into more than 25 languages. He is also widely recognized as the illustrator of Megan McDonald’s Judy Moody series and of several picture books by Susan Verde, including I Am Yoga, I Am Peace, and I Am Human.
Reynolds co-founded the educational media studio FableVision with his brother Paul, serving as its creative director and producing award‑winning educational media, and he later helped launch the Reynolds Center for Teaching, Learning, and Creativity to promote innovation in education.
