Priten Shah

Priten Shah (also published as Priten Soundar‑Shah) is an educator, philosopher, and entrepreneur who works at the intersection of technology and education. He is the author of AI and the Future of Education: Teaching in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (Wiley/Jossey‑Bass, 2023), a practical guide for educators on understanding and using AI in the classroom that has been released in multiple formats and translated into Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

Shah is the founder and leader of education ventures including Pedagogy.Cloud/Pedagogy Ventures, which develops technology‑enhanced solutions for educators, and the civic education nonprofit United 4 Social Change/Academy 4 Social Civics, focused on civics learning. He teaches social science courses at College Unbound, a bachelor’s‑degree‑granting institution for adult learners, and holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Harvard College and an M.Ed. in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
