Quinn Rollins

Quinn Rollins is an award‑winning social studies and history teacher based in the Salt Lake City area, where he has taught in the Granite School District since 2004 and currently teaches courses including History, History Through Film, and AVID at Cyprus High School in Magna, Utah. He has also served as a social studies specialist for the district and is a frequent national conference presenter, known for sessions on using toys, games, graphic novels, and comics to deepen engagement and learning in social studies and other content areas.

Rollins is the author of Play Like a PIRATE: Engage Students with Toys, Games, and Comics (Dave Burgess Consulting, 2016), part of the “Like a PIRATE” teaching series, which offers practical strategies, templates, and resources for integrating play, pop culture, and graphic texts into K–12 classrooms. In addition to his book, he has written on these topics for outlets such as Edutopia and contributes ideas and tools for educators through his website and professional presentations.
