Randy Howe
Randy Howe is a special education teacher and author whose work centers on teaching, learning, and inspiration in the classroom. He has taught in public schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels and has worked for decades as a special educator in Connecticut. Howe earned a Master of Professional Studies in Special Education from Manhattanville College and completed administrative certification at Teachers College, Columbia University as part of the Future School Administrators Academy.
In addition to The Quotable Teacher, Howe is the author or editor of several education- and reference-focused titles, including Teacher Haiku, A+ Educators, Here We Stand, Flags of the Fifty States: Their Colorful Histories and Significance, Why I Hate the Republicans, Why I Hate the Democrats, and the vocabulary guide Word Source: The Smarter Way to Learn Vocabulary. He has also written a weekly philosophy article for McGraw-Hill’s Higher Education division.
