Rebecca Bellingham

Rebecca Bellingham is an educator and artist who has led literacy- and arts-based work in schools, universities, and nonprofits for more than 25 years. She is the author of The Artful Read-Aloud: 10 Principles to Inspire, Engage, and Transform Learning and the co-author, with Veronica Scott, of The Artful Approach to Exploring Identity and Fostering Belonging.

According to Heinemann, Bellingham is also a co-founder of Artful Belonging Studio, a consulting firm and creative studio. Heinemann and related author materials describe her as a teacher, literacy consultant, college instructor, and performer; they also note that she earned a master’s degree in elementary education from Lesley University through Shady Hill School’s Teacher Training course and a master’s degree in literacy specialization from Columbia University Teachers College.
