Rebecca Nicolas
Rebecca Nicolas, EdD, is the principal of Fern Creek High School in Louisville, Kentucky, where her work focuses on implementing the PLC process and building collaborative teams. She previously served as an assistant principal at Fern Creek High School and as an English teacher and assistant principal at Doss High School in Kentucky, and she has 17 years of experience working in schools with significant at-risk student populations.
Dr. Nicolas earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Centre College, a master’s degree in English from Wake Forest University, and an EdD in educational leadership from Spalding University. She is a contributor to Charting the Course for Leaders: Lessons From Priority Schools in a PLC at Work®, including Chapter 9, “Monitoring Productivity Instead of Activity.”
