Remy Cross

Remy Cross is a research manager at the Connected Learning Lab at the University of California, Irvine. Their work focuses on children’s relationships with algorithms, digital data, and online platforms.

Cross is a co-editor of Algorithmic Rights and Protections for Children (MIT Press, 2023), alongside Mizuko Ito, Karthik Dinakar, and Candice Odgers. The collection examines algorithmic justice, learning, equity, and ways to protect children’s agency and well-being in digital environments.
