Rich Czyz

Rich Czyz is an elementary school principal, author, and educator who began his career in 2003 as a fifth‑grade teacher and later served as a basic skills teacher, instructional coach, technology coach, elementary supervisor, and director of curriculum and instruction in New Jersey. He is currently the principal of Yardville Elementary School in New Jersey and lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with his family. Czyz is the co‑founder of the educator blog Four O’Clock Faculty, where he focuses on innovative strategies and meaningful professional learning for teachers and school leaders.

Czyz is the author of The Four O’Clock Faculty: A Rogue Guide to Revolutionizing Professional Development and Rogue Leader: Make the Rules, Inspire Others, and Take Control of Your Own Professional Development Destiny, which advocate for relevant, educator‑driven professional learning. He has also written additional books for school leaders and teachers, including The Secret Sauce: Essential Ingredients for Exceptional Teaching and Autopilot: Practical Productivity for School Leaders, further extending his work on effective teaching, productivity, and professional development in schools.
