Robyn R. Jackson

Robyn R. Jackson, PhD, is an educator, author, and consultant known for her work on instructional leadership and school improvement. A former high school English teacher and middle school administrator, she is the founder and CEO of Mindsteps Inc., through which she has worked with thousands of K–12 teachers and administrators to develop rigorous instructional programs and build more effective schools. She is a National Board Certified teacher and an internationally recognized keynote speaker and consultant.

Jackson is the author of multiple books on teaching and leadership, including Stop Leading, Start Building!: Turn Your School into a Success Story with the People and Resources You Already Have, Never Work Harder Than Your Students and Other Principles of Great Teaching, Never Underestimate Your Teachers: Instructional Leadership for Excellence in Every Classroom, and You Can Do This: Hope and Help for New Teachers, as well as titles in the Mastering the Principles of Great Teaching series. She also hosts the education podcast School Leadership Re-Imagined, where she focuses on helping principals and instructional leaders create successful schools.
