Romina Galotta

Romina Galotta is an Argentinian illustrator and author with a degree in graphic design from the University of Buenos Aires. She works primarily in traditional media, including watercolors, gouache, colored pencils, soft pastels, and ink. An ardent animal lover, passionate foodie, and avid traveler, she has lived in Buenos Aires and currently resides in Italy with her husband and dogs.

Galotta is the illustrator of numerous picture books, including Squawk of Spanish (and its Spanish edition Un graznido en español) by Gabriella Aldeman, published in 2024, as well as Dear Librarian by Lydia M. Sigwarth, Harriet’s Ruffled Feathers by Joy McCullough, We Are the Builders! by Deepa Iyer, and A Gift of Feathers by Ken Schept.
