Ron Martiello

Ron Martiello is a math learning coach and instructional leader based in the Greater Philadelphia area, with nearly three decades of experience in education and instructional practices focused on creating equitable learning environments. He has served as a 1st grade teacher, elementary assistant principal, and elementary principal before transitioning in 2018 to a learning coach role supporting teachers in the areas of technology and mathematics.

Martiello is the co-author of _Conquering Math Myths with Universal Design: An Inclusive Instructional Approach for Grades K–8_, published by ASCD in 2024, which applies the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to promote inclusive and accessible mathematics instruction. He is also the host of the “Math: Universally Speaking” podcast, where he shares strategies for inclusive, equitable math classrooms and discusses themes connected to his book and UDL-informed math instruction.
