Ronald A. Beghetto

Ronald A. Beghetto is a Pinnacle West Presidential Chair and Professor in the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation at Arizona State University, where his work focuses on the psychology of human creativity, generative AI, and possibility thinking in educational settings. He holds a PhD in Educational Psychology (Learning, Cognition, and Instruction) from Indiana University and is widely recognized as an expert on creativity in education. Beghetto is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, including the Society for the Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity and the Arts (Division 10), and a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Creativity and Innovation.

Beghetto has authored and co‑authored numerous works on creativity and innovation in education, including Agents of Impact: How Education Can Empower Students to Change Themselves, Their Communities, and Their World, Beautiful Risks: Having the Courage to Teach and Learn Creatively, What If?: Building Students' Problem-Solving Skills Through Complex Challenges, Uncertainty x Design, and My Favorite Failure: How Setbacks Can Lead to Learning and Growth.
