Rosie Connor

Rosie Connor is the founder and global director of BTS Spark, a not-for-profit educational leadership initiative, where she has led leadership development and coaching work for school leaders for over a decade. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in educational leadership, she has designed and launched hundreds of leadership development programs for school leaders across four continents, with a focus on making world-class coaching accessible at not-for-profit prices.

Connor is the co-author of Embracing MESSY Leadership: How the Experience of 20,000 School Leaders Can Transform You and Your School (ASCD, 2024), which synthesizes insights from coaching over 20,000 school leaders worldwide and introduces the MESSY leadership model to address universal challenges in school leadership. She frequently shares these insights through conference presentations and media appearances focused on practical strategies for school leaders and the “uncommon sense” of MESSY leadership.
