Salman Khan
Salman Khan is an American educator and entrepreneur, best known as the founder and CEO of Khan Academy, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide “free, world‑class education for anyone, anywhere.” Khan Academy serves hundreds of millions of learners worldwide in numerous languages, and Khan has produced thousands of instructional videos across a wide range of subjects. He is also the founder of Khan Lab School, a K–12 school in Mountain View, California, and Schoolhouse, an online tutoring platform. Born in 1976 in Metairie, Louisiana, Salman Amin “Sal” Khan was named one of TIME’s 100 most influential people in 2012.
