Sam Seidel

Sam Seidel is a writer, educator, and design researcher at the Stanford d.school, where he serves as Director of Products + Publications and Co-Director of the K12 Lab. He graduated from Brown University with a degree in Education and a teaching certification, and has taught in settings ranging from public elementary schools to Ivy League graduate programs.

Seidel is the co-editor of From White Folks Who Teach in the Hood: Reflections on Race, Culture, and Identity and the co-author of Creative Hustle, Changing the Conversation About School Safety, and Hip Hop Genius 2.0; he is also credited with Hip Hop Genius. His writing has appeared in The Washington Post, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Education Week, and The 74.
