Sandy Gingras

Sandy Gingras is an author, illustrator, and designer known for her inspirational gift books featuring soft watercolor artwork and reflective, personal text. She has written and illustrated more than twenty-five gift and illustrated books, including Thank You: (a book for teachers), which celebrates teachers through gentle, appreciative prose and artwork.

Gingras is the founder and owner of How to Live, a design and gift company and retail stores based on Long Beach Island, New Jersey, where she designs stationery and gift products. A graduate of Hamilton College, she holds an M.A. in English from Duke University and an M.A. in counseling from Rider College. In addition to her gift books, her published work includes mystery novels, poetry, and a chapbook, and she has been recognized with the Crime Writers’ Association Debut Dagger Award for mystery writing.
