Sarvinder Naberhaus

Sarvinder Naberhaus is an Indian American children’s author born in India who grew up in Iowa and lives in Iowa with her family. Before becoming a full-time author, she worked as an elementary schoolteacher and media librarian, and she holds a Master of Education from Iowa State University.

Her books include Blue Sky White Stars and Boom Boom; Lines is also listed among her published works, and Blue Sky White Stars/Un Cielo Azul Blancas Estrellas was published as a bilingual English-Spanish edition. Blue Sky White Stars was illustrated by Kadir Nelson and received notable recognition including starred reviews and selection as a Time magazine top children’s book of the year.
