Serena Pariser
Serena Pariser is an award‑winning educator, educational consultant, and bestselling author whose work focuses on practical strategies for classroom management, time management, and character education. She taught English language arts in a variety of K–12 settings, including schools in San Diego, California, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has experience across a wide range of school contexts from under-resourced urban public schools to affluent private schools. Pariser was honored as Teacher of the Year at Gompers Preparatory Academy in San Diego, later serving as assistant director of field experience at the University of San Diego, where she taught graduate and undergraduate courses for preservice teachers. A Fulbright scholar and national evaluator for Schools of Character, she now coaches educators in the United States and internationally, including work with teachers “from California to Kathmandu.”
Pariser is the bestselling author of Real Talk About Classroom Management: 50 Best Practices That Work and Show You Believe in Your Students (2018; second edition 2024), and coauthor of Real Talk About Time Management: 35 Best Practices for Educators (with Edward F. DeRoche, 2020).
