Shannon K Buerk

Shannon K. Buerk is an educator, entrepreneur, and founder and CEO of engage2learn, an organization providing professional learning, coaching, and strategic implementation support for K–12 public schools. Before founding engage2learn in 2011, she worked as a high school English teacher, assistant superintendent at Coppell ISD, and senior strategist at Cambridge Strategic Services. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Schreiner University and an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Portland State University.

Buerk is the author of Connect the Dots: Utilize Education Intelligence to Accelerate Growth, Retain Talent, and Optimize Outcomes, published in 2022. Her recognitions include the Enterprising Women of the Year Award, a Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year, and the Texas Governor’s Small Business Award.
