Sharon I. Radd
Sharon I. Radd is an Associate Professor and Program Director of the MA in Organizational Leadership at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where her work centers on leadership, educational equity, adult learning, and organizational change. She is also Founder and Principal Consultant of ConsciousPraxis (formerly Sankalpa Consulting), a Senior Partner in The Five Practices Group, and an Equity Fellow with the Midwest and Plains Equity Assistance Center, partnering with education, public, and nonprofit organizations to foster inclusive and effective leadership.
Radd is a co-author of Five Practices for Equity-Focused School Leadership (ASCD, 2021), which received the 2022 Best Book for Educators Award from the American Consortium for Equity in Education. Before moving into higher education and consulting, she spent 23 years in K–12 public education as a school social worker, building-level administrator, district administrator, and professional development provider. Her scholarship and practice focus on equity-centered leadership and advancing social justice in public and nonprofit sectors, and she has been recognized with honors including a 2006 Archibald Bush Leadership Fellowship and the 2010 Social Justice Dissertation Award from the American Educational Research Association LSJ-SIG.
