Sheila M. Clonan

Sheila M. Clonan, PhD, is a New York State–licensed psychologist and New York State–certified school psychologist. She earned her doctorate in school psychology from Syracuse University and has taught inclusive education, reading instruction, educational psychology, and learning disabilities at Syracuse University and Colgate University. She is the founder of Educational Solutions CNY, where she conducts assessments for dyslexia, ADHD, and other disabilities and consults with families and educators.

Clonan is a founding board member and vice chair of The Reading League, where she provides professional learning on understanding and assessing dyslexia. She is the coauthor, with Michelle S. Storie, of Assessing Dyslexia in Schools: Empowering Practitioners through Reading Science, a practitioner-focused book on evidence-based assessment and intervention for students with dyslexia.
