Sorsha-Maria T. Mulroe is a math specialist and coach with the Howard County Public School System in Maryland, where she has worked in mathematics leadership roles since 2007, currently serving as a Math Specialist focused on equity-based teaching practices and expanding access and opportunity for all students. She also teaches as adjunct faculty at Stevenson University, contributing to the preparation of future educators in mathematics.
Mulroe is a coauthor of Classroom-Ready Rich Math Tasks, Grades 4–5: Engaging Students in Doing Math in the Corwin Mathematics Series, developed with Beth McCord Kobett, Francis (Skip) Fennell, Karen S. Karp, and Delise Andrews. Her work and submissions in professional mathematics education contexts reflect a focus on identity, equity, and rich mathematical tasks for elementary and middle grades.
