Stacie Lynn Stanley

Dr. Stacie L. Stanley is an educator and school district leader who has served as superintendent of Edina Public Schools in Minnesota and, more recently, as superintendent of Saint Paul Public Schools, the second-largest school district in the state. Over her career she has held roles including math teacher, school principal, director of curriculum, assessment and instruction, associate superintendent of Eden Prairie Schools, and other leadership positions focused on curriculum, instructional support, and programs for English learners. She earned her doctorate in educational leadership from Bethel University in Minnesota, where her research examined the impact of intercultural development on K–6 administrative leadership practice.

Stanley is co-author of Leading While Female: A Culturally Proficient Response for Gender Equity and a contributing author to Innovative Voices in Education: Engaging Diverse Communities. She is also a co-author of Women Mentoring Women for Momentum: The Next Step in Leading While Female, published by Corwin, which extends her work on culturally proficient leadership and gender equity in educational leadership.
