Steven E. Tobias

Steven E. Tobias, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist and director of the Center for Child & Family Development in Morristown, New Jersey. He has more than 25 years of experience working with children, parents, families, and schools, with expertise in child development, social skills, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and children’s emotional development. He also consults with schools and conducts workshops for parents.

Tobias has coauthored several books with Maurice J. Elias, including Emotionally Intelligent Parenting, Raising an Emotionally Intelligent Teenager, and Boost Emotional Intelligence in Students. He has lectured throughout the United States on parenting and children’s emotional development.
