Steven Glazer

Steven Glazer is an educator, author, and editor who has worked as an elementary educator, arts administrator, and school director. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Union College and a master’s degree in English and American Literature from the University of Chicago.

Glazer edited The Heart of Learning: Spirituality in Education, published by Tarcher/Putnam in 1999. The collection examines spirituality, community, and personal transformation in teaching and learning, with contributions from writers and teachers including Huston Smith, Parker Palmer, Rachel Naomi Remen, bell hooks, and the Dalai Lama.
