Sue Chapman
Sue Chapman is a mathematics educator who has served students and other math learners for over 40 years in roles including teacher, mathematics coach, campus administrator, district curriculum coordinator, and teacher educator. She teaches mathematics methods courses to preservice teachers at the University of Houston–Clear Lake and provides professional learning and coaching support to teachers and school leaders across the United States.
Chapman is co-author of Eight Habits of Highly Effective Math Students (and the Teachers Who Teach Them): Grades K–5 (Corwin Mathematics Series) and Power Up Your Math Community: A 10-Month Practice-Based Professional Learning Guide. In addition to her books, she has written numerous blog posts and articles on coaching, teacher leadership, instructional improvement, and mathematics education.
