Summer Snyder is an educator and coauthor of Teaching with Dignity: How to Cultivate Classroom Ecosystems Where People Thrive, published by Dignity Works Press and written with John Krownapple and Floyd Cobb. The book uses a gardening metaphor and draws on dignity research, implementation science, and real classroom practice—including Snyder’s own award‑winning teaching—to offer practical strategies for creating dignity‑centered classroom ecosystems where students and teachers can thrive.
Snyder has more than twenty years of experience in education, including roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and Differentiation Coordinator in a Denver‑area school district serving over 55,000 students across eight municipalities. Her work focuses on fostering inclusive and equitable classrooms and supporting differentiated instruction so that all learners can succeed.
