Susan Barber
Susan Barber is a high school English teacher and AP® English Literature instructor at Midtown High School in Atlanta, Georgia. She serves on the AP® Literature Test Development Committee and has been an AP® Reader for multiple years, as well as a College Board consultant and College Board Advisor for AP® Literature. Barber is active in professional organizations, serving on the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Secondary Steering Committee.
Barber is coauthor of 100% Engagement: 33 Lessons to Promote Participation, Beat Boredom, and Deepen Learning in the ELA Classroom, a Corwin Literacy title that offers 33 classroom-tested engagement strategies for grades 6–12 ELA teachers. She is also coauthor of The Norton Guide to AP® Literature: Writing and Skills and has contributed to both editions of The Best Lesson Series.
