Susana Rosique

Susana Rosique is a Spanish author and illustrator born in San Sebastián, where she developed an early interest in the sea, forests, books, and drawing. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of the Basque Country and later moved to Madrid, where she participated in painting exhibitions through the Community of Madrid’s Youth Art Network. She worked for more than 16 years as a contributor and illustrator for Hacer Familia magazine and has illustrated more than 30 children’s and young-adult publications for Spanish and international publishers.

Rosique writes and illustrates books characterized by expressive artwork, humor, tenderness, and positive messages. Her work has received recognition from organizations including the International Latino Book Awards and the Cuatrogatos Foundation, and has been selected for international illustration exhibitions. She is the author and illustrator of Agreement Under the Stars, a children’s picture book published by Cuento de Luz in 2024.
