Tanny McGregor is an educator, literacy consultant, and conference speaker based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with more than 30 years of experience in public education. According to publisher and author bios, she has worked as an elementary classroom teacher, literacy coach, gifted intervention specialist, preK–12 staff developer, and teacher on special assignment for West Clermont Schools.
She is the author of Comprehension Connections: Bridges to Strategic Reading (2007), Genre Connections: Lessons to Launch Literary and Nonfiction Texts (2013), and Ink & Ideas: Sketchnotes for Engagement, Comprehension, and Thinking (published by Heinemann in 2018 and listed by her website as 2019). She also contributed to Comprehension Going Forward: Where We Are/What’s Next.
