Thomas C. Murray

Thomas C. Murray is an American educator, author, and speaker who serves as Director of Innovation for Future Ready Schools, a project of All4Ed based in Washington, D.C. Before his national work, he worked in public education as an elementary and middle school teacher, principal at both levels, and district leader in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He has testified before the United States Congress and collaborates with the U.S. Senate, the White House, the U.S. Department of Education, state education agencies, school districts, and corporations to advance student-centered, personalized learning and lead initiatives such as Future Ready Schools and Digital Learning Day.

Murray is the co-author of _Learning Transformed: 8 Keys to Designing Tomorrow’s Schools, Today_ with Eric C. Sheninger, published by ASCD in 2017, and the author of _Personal & Authentic: Designing Learning Experiences That Impact a Lifetime_, published in 2019. Both books have achieved bestseller status in the education field. He is a nationally recognized keynote speaker and has been honored with multiple awards, including “20 to Watch” by the National School Boards Association, “National/Global EdTech Leader of the Year,” “Education Thought Leader of the Year,” and “Education Policy Person of the Year” by the Academy of Arts and Sciences.
