Thomas Flintham

Thomas Flintham is a British author and illustrator best known for creating the bestselling Press Start! early chapter book series featuring Super Rabbit Boy, which he both writes and illustrates. He grew up in Lincoln, England, studied Fine Art at De Montfort University in Leicester, and completed a master’s degree in Illustration at Camberwell College of the Arts in London. Flintham now lives in Cornwall, England, where he works primarily in children’s publishing.

In addition to Super Game Book!: A Branches Special Edition (Press Start! #14), Flintham’s Press Start! titles include books such as Game Over, Super Rabbit Boy!, Super Rabbit Boy Powers Up!, Super Rabbit Racers!, Super Rabbit Boy vs. Super Rabbit Boss!, and Super Rabbit Boy Blasts Off!, among others. As an illustrator, he is also noted for his work on Pamela Butchart’s humorous school stories series (often referred to as the “Baby Aliens”/“Izzy” books), which have won major UK children’s book awards, including the Blue Peter Book Award for Best Story (2015) and The Children’s Book Award (2016).
