T. J. Vari

T.J. Vari, Ed.D., is an educational leadership author and K–12 practitioner whose work focuses on school culture, teacher development, and instructional leadership. He is the Senior Director of Product Strategy at MaiaLearning, concentrating on college and career readiness and postsecondary planning for students worldwide. Previously, he served as Deputy/Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools and District Operations in Delaware’s Appoquinimink School District and has experience as a high school English teacher, middle school assistant principal, and middle school principal. Vari holds a master’s degree in school leadership and a doctorate in innovation and leadership, for which he received an Award for Academic Excellence.

Vari is the co-founder of TheSchoolHouse302, a leadership development institute and company that provides coaching and professional learning for educational leaders.
