Tommy Reddicks
Tommy Reddicks is an educator, executive, and author who serves as CEO of Paramount Schools of Excellence in Indianapolis, Indiana. He founded Paramount Brookside in 2010 on Indianapolis’s east side and now oversees a growing network of urban schools. Earlier in his career, he worked as an assistant principal at Knowledge Quest Academy in Milliken, Colorado and as a curriculum consultant and school music teacher in public, private, and charter schools from 1995 to 2008. Reddicks holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education from the University of Wyoming and later earned his administrative licensure from the University of Phoenix.
Reddicks is co-author of Lead From the Start: How to Succeed as the New Principal of Your School, a school leadership guide for new principals and experienced educators, written with Tina Merriweather Seymour and published in 2019. In addition to this work, he has been a featured keynote speaker and trainer in school health, leading the Paramount Health Data Project since 2012, and has written other educational titles including The Insane Riddle, Code, and Secret Math Book and A New Dimension. He is a past president of the Indiana Curriculum and Instruction Association and the Near Eastside Community Organization (NESCO) in Indianapolis, and is a member of the **Equity Coalition
