Tracey West is the author of the New York Times bestselling Dragon Masters series for Scholastic Branches, including Cave of the Crystal Dragon: A Branches Book (Dragon Masters #26). She has written more than 400 books for children, including the Pixie Tricks series and books tied to licensed properties such as Pokémon and LEGO Ninjago.
West grew up in New Jersey and has said she wrote her first children’s book with friends before going on to publish books based on cartoons, video games, and movies, as well as original series. She also attended Rutgers University, where she studied English and Journalism, and later worked in children’s publishing before becoming a full-time writer.
