Vicki Bautista

Vicki Bautista is an author and higher education leader whose work focuses on leadership, well-being, and personal leadership philosophy in educational and healthcare contexts. She is coauthor of What’s Your Leadership Story? A School Leader’s Guide to Aligning How You Lead with Who You Are, published by ASCD in 2021, which guides school leaders through a structured process to craft a personal leadership philosophy. She is also coauthor of A Self-Care Guide for Leaders in Higher Education: Building Your Plan for Professional Sustainability, published by Teachers College Press.

Bautista serves as Director of Healthcare Leadership & Business at Clarkson College, where she directs doctoral programs in Healthcare Education & Leadership and Interprofessional Leadership, as well as multiple Healthcare Business degree programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Texas–El Paso, a Master of Arts in Health Education from the University of Nebraska Omaha, and an EdD in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University. Her professional background includes roles in higher education and health promotion, and she regularly presents on leadership, well-being, self-care, and personal leadership philosophies.
