Vicki Wilson
Vicki Wilson is an educator, author, and consultant with more than 28 years of experience as a teacher and school principal. She served as principal of Monroe Elementary School in the Wyandotte, Michigan School District, a student‑ and learning‑centered school recognized as a Model PLC School by Solution Tree in 2018. Her work focuses on instructional rounds, professional learning communities, positive behavior supports, restorative practices, and leading organizational change in schools.
In 2020, Wilson authored Lead with Instructional Rounds: Creating a Culture of Professional Learning, a Lead Like a Pirate guidebook published by Dave Burgess Consulting, Inc., where she shares a strength‑based approach to instructional rounds and the story of a challenging school merger that evolved into a healthy school culture. She has also contributed as one of 100 authors to the collaborative volumes 100 No-Nonsense Things That All Teachers Should Stop Doing and 100 No-Nonsense Things That All Administrators Should Stop Doing, published by Pushing Boundaries Consulting.
