Victoria S. Lentfer
Dr. Victoria S. Lentfer is an education instructor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she teaches classroom management and middle level courses and serves as a STEM instructor in the Department of Teacher Education. She holds an Ed.D. in educational leadership and has a research background in teacher education, classroom management, and STEM learning. Lentfer has more than 20 years of experience providing instructional support and teaching in urban, suburban, and rural school districts, as well as extensive work with incarcerated youth. She is also an educational consultant and personal life coach, offering professional learning in classroom management and teacher leadership.
Lentfer is the founder of the CALM Classroom Management Program, a comprehensive behavior-management and teacher-leadership framework that emphasizes communication, accountability, leadership, and motivation to support inclusive and productive classrooms. She is the author of Keep CALM and Teach: Empowering K–12 Learners With Positive Classroom Management Routines and coauthor of Answers to Your Biggest Questions About Creating a Dynamic Classroom in Corwin’s Five to Thrive series. Her work on classroom management has appeared in professional outlets such as AMLE Magazine and the Journal of Curriculum, Teaching, Learning and Leadership in Education.
