Wade King

Wade King is an award-winning educator, author, and professional development leader with more than a decade of classroom experience teaching grades 3–8 in a variety of school settings, including rural, Title I, inner-city, suburban, public, and private schools. He holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in leadership/educational administration from Anderson University, and has been recognized as Teacher of the Year and District Choice Teacher, with his students achieving some of the highest standardized test scores in South Carolina.

King is the coauthor of the best-selling book _The Wild Card: 7 Steps to an Educator’s Creative Breakthrough_ and the children’s book _The Wild Card Kids: Journey to M.A.G.I.C._, both written with his wife and fellow educator Hope King. He serves as President and COO of Get Your Teach On, a nationally acclaimed educator professional development movement and conference series that reaches thousands of teachers each year, where he is known for promoting high engagement, creativity, and rigorous instruction in the classroom.
