Warren Berger is an American journalist, author, and self-described “questionologist” whose work focuses on the power of questioning to drive innovation, creativity, and learning. A longtime journalist, he has written for outlets such as The New York Times, Wired, Fast Company, Harvard Business Review, and Psychology Today, and is recognized as an expert on design thinking, innovation, and the role of inquiry in problem-solving. He is also the creator of the website AMoreBeautifulQuestion.com, which explores how better questions can lead to better ideas and decisions.
Berger is the author of several books on questioning and innovation, including A More Beautiful Question: The Power of Inquiry to Spark Breakthrough Ideas, The Book of Beautiful Questions: The Powerful Questions That Will Help You Decide, Create, Connect, and Lead, and, with co-author Elise Foster, Beautiful Questions in the Classroom: Transforming Classrooms Into Cultures of Curiosity and Inquiry. Earlier in his career he wrote the acclaimed Glimmer: How Design Can Transform Business and Your Life, which was named one of BusinessWeek’s best innovation and design books of the year, and has also authored or co-authored books such as Advertising Today and No Opportunity Wasted.
