Wendy Murawski

Wendy W. Murawski, Ph.D., is a leading expert in co-teaching and inclusive education and the Michael D. Eisner Endowed Chair and Executive Director for the Center for Teaching and Learning at California State University, Northridge, where she is also a tenured full professor in the Department of Special Education. A former high school German and special education teacher with credentials in learning disabilities and emotional/behavioral disabilities, she holds a B.A. in German and Comparative Literature, an M.Ed. in Special Education, and an Ed.S. in Educational Administration from the College of William and Mary, as well as a Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of California, Riverside and an MBA from Western Governors University.

Murawski is the past president of the Teacher Education Division of the Council for Exceptional Children and has received awards including Distinguished Teacher Educator of the Year for the state of California and an Outstanding Faculty Award from her university.
